The Club was formed in 1970 by a group of enthusiasts who met occasionally on the banks of the river Tone in Taunton.

We have a membership of about 25 with most of our Wives helping at events.

Members build and sail different types of model, scale, yachs, steam and fast electric.

We have exchange visits with other clubs in the South West.

The monthly meetings are held at the West Monkton Village Hall on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7-30pm. This gives members an opportunity for exchange of views and advice on their hobby as well as talk's and competitions.
